The biggest challenge any teacher faces is capturing the students’ attention, and putting across ideas in such a way that it stays with them long after they have left the classroom. For this to happen, classroom experience should be redefined and innovative ideas that make teaching methods more effective should be implemented.
Sahara Public School focuses on the holistic development of the students. The concept of teaching methods includes pedagogy and strategies used in the classroom for teaching. We follow Student-Centered Approach rather than Teacher-Centered Approach.
Though to some extent The Sahara also believes in "Spare the rod and spoil the child" yet The Sahara has spared the rod but to others utter disbelief and astonishment The Sahara has not spoiled the child. The Sahara has only spared the rod, not the child, who always remains in our constant vigil and guidance and wherever and whenever he slips, The Sahara is there to hold and guide him to the right path.
Here, we prefer there should be equal interaction between a teacher and student. We believe in experiential learning, where in students experience, communicate, reason and learn about the concepts. The method used to teach concepts to the primary students is a Play-Way method, wherein there is no burden of studies and no rote learning. Students play and they learn willingly and happily. For seniors the learning is not only done in the classrooms and laboratories but children are out in the fields to touch, understand and see it practically. The knowledge and understanding of the students are measured with the formal and informal assessments including group and individual projects, class discussions, debates, recitations and so on.
